Vocational Supports program offers facility- and community-based job training, maintains a cleaning & janitorial crew, and offer supported employment in multiple locations.
ARC Human Services
Although located in Meadowlands, Washington County, this agency provides employment to some Allegheny County residents at its Vocational Workshop. The Janitorial Program has some employment sites in Allegheny County.

Goodwill’s Job Training Programs provide vocational assistance, job training, job search assistance and job placement services. Participants will learn the skills they need to placed in a job in the community:

Life’s Work of Western PA
Offers job readiness, coaching and training, as well as employment opportunities in production work, cleaning, and at Ben and Jerry’s PartnerShop. Has eight-week training program for customer service representatives.
Commonwealth Technical Institute at the Hiram G. Andrews Center
Individualized, post-secondary education, which provides career opportunities and independent life skills.
McGuire Memorial Employment Option Center
For adults with mild to moderate disabilities and/or autism. Vocational training, life skills, school-to-work transition, and paid employment opportunities.

CLASS (Community Living and Support Systems)
Vocational Services program helps youth and adults with a wide range of abilities to develop job skills through classroom instruction and community volunteering.  Supported employment and job coaching also offered.
Pittsburgh Disability Employment Project for Freedom
Offers technical skills training to people with disabilities and provides a talent pool of professionals to fill positions within the regional business community by establishing public-private partnerships with employers, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
Spina Bifida Association of Western PA
Provides job coaching and employment skills training to individuals with spina bifida and other disabilities.
St. Anthony School Programs
Part of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, St. Anthony provides a two-year post-secondary program at Duquesne University that matches young adults with disabilities with college peers for vocational training at locations such as hospitals, hotels and grocery stores.
Collaborative effort of UPMC, Goodwill of Southwestern PA, Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Intellectual Disability, Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and partnering school districts throughout Allegheny County. The program combines education and work experience to prepare transition-age students for competitive employment.

YouthWorks provides career building experiences to our most vulnerable youth to help develop their potential and achieve social and economic upward mobility. Since its inception, YouthWorks has served over 23,000 youth throughout the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County through career exploration, work readiness training, and employment opportunities.
