Alternate Funding Sources

Families who have children with special helath care needs and disabilities often  have expenses that are not covered by insurance. The following is a limited list of alternative sources of funding, equipment, and services.  Each source has specific eligibility requirements.

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America
Operates Partnership for Prescription Assistance, providing reduced cost or free prescriptions to people in need.

Free cell phones/airtime. Must meet eligibility criteria.

Vehicle Modification Programs
Certain automobile manufacturers offer new vehicle incentives that reimburse up to $1,000 if a vehicle is modified within six to 12 months of purchase.
